Mr. Chacha Peter Mohoria- Head of Department
The Ministry of Education launched the office of career services (OCS) in 2019 through the department of post-training and skills development. In line with this the office of career services (OCS) at Kendege Technical and Vocational College was established in September 2022 geared to oversee and achieve the following cross-cutting issues:
- Sensitizing Trainees and stakeholders on career progression.
- Liaising with the relevant industry stakeholders for the provision of the current occupation standards (OS) that sharpen our graduates and prepare them on job market demands.
- Fine-tune our end-year trainees on soft skills like writing cover letters, curriculum Vitae, online jobs, internet, and job searching techniques.
- Active database records for alumni that aid in our graduate follow-ups about their progress after college.
- Organizing and conducting workshop training that equips trainees with job skills.
- Working in collaboration with the institution's marketing department to sensitize prospective trainees on career pathways.
- Linking with the job industries for possible job placement of our graduates.
